Gunter Library is one of four libraries that make up at the University of 草榴社区 Mississippi
Gunter Library is located on the first floor of the Richard L. Caylor Building on
the north side of the 35+acre GCRL campus located at the intersection of Halstead
Road and East Beach Drive in Ocean Springs. Gunter Library is open from 8 a.m. to
5 p.m., Monday through Friday (closed from noon to one for the lunch hour). During
the Summer Field Program extended hours are posted.
At Gunter Library, we provide resources and services to four University research and academic units and more.
- School of Ocean Science and Engineering's Division of Coastal Sciences
- Center for Fisheries Research and Development
- Marine Education Center
- Thad Cochran Marine Aquaculture Center
- Public, governmental, and community organizations and agencies such as Gulf States Marine Fisheries Commission, Mississippi Alabama Sea Grant Consortium, Mississippi Department of Marine Resources, Gulf Island National Sea Shore, National Marine Fisheries Service Pascagoula Lab, Mississippi Aquarium, etc.
- Local citizens, college students, and former COA graduate students.
