Graduate Program Contacts and Application Deadlines

 The applications for graduate study are available through the following dates:

* Only applications for Athletic Training and Dyslexia Therapy are accepted for Summer admission.

Many programs have priority deadlines for reviewing applications.  Please contact the office of your prospective major for additional information. (See below for contact information.)

*To be eligible to receive an assistantship, new students should be admitted and enrolled in courses by July 1 for Fall admission, December 1 for Spring admission, or May 1 for Summer admission.

Application Requirements

All graduate applicants will be required to supply the following documents:

  1. A completed online application and $60 application fee.
  2. Official transcripts from all regionally accredited institutions from which a bachelor鈥檚 degree or higher degree was obtained AND official transcripts for all work completed after obtaining the bachelor鈥檚 degree, including undergraduate and graduate coursework. Junior/community college transcripts are NOT required. (Applicants who are applying for nursing programs and have earned an Associate鈥檚 of Science-Nursing should include those transcripts.)
  3. Some programs require results from a standardized, graduate-level exam (typically the GRE) or in the case of many Education programs, results from the Praxis. Applicants may contact the office of their major to determine whether other results are acceptable. The following programs require test scores:

    Inclusive Elementary Education MAT PRAXIS Core, Acceptable ACT scores, or 3.0 on last 60 hours
    Medical Laboratory Science MS GRE
    Nursing (Nurse Anesthesia) DNP GRE
    Physics (Computational Science) MS GRE
    Physics MS GRE
    Secondary Teacher Education (Alternate Route) MAT Praxis Subject Assessment and PRAXIS Core, Acceptable ACT scores, or 3.0 on last 60 hours
    Special Education MEd GRE, MAT, or PRAXIS II
    Speech and Hearing Sciences (Speech-Language Pathology) MS GRE
  4. Most programs require 3 letters of recommendation from individuals who can speak to the applicant鈥檚 academic performance. Applicants may contact the program of their major to determine if the program will accept non-academic recommendations.
  5. Other supplemental materials as required by programs, such as a r茅sum茅, statement of purpose, writing sample, etc. Please review the list below for the specific documents required by your program of interest. Please refer below for links to program specific requirements or to the .

In addition to the above documents, certain programs may conduct interviews or auditions as part of their application process. Applicants will be contacted at a later date if selected to interview or audition.
