Tuition and Fees
Tuition is charged per credit hour up to twelve (12) hours for undergraduates and is a flat rate for twelve (12) to nineteen (19) hours. Intersession hours count toward the flat rate hours. An additional per hour surcharge will be assessed for each credit hour over nineteen (19).

In June 2015, the Mississippi IHL Board of Trustees approved the following fees effective Fall 2015.
- The Student Activities Fee will provide an independent source of funding for student programming and services. This fee will be assessed for fall and spring semesters only.
- The Capital Improvement Fee will provide a stable base of support for Student Services Facilities used by all students. This fee will be assessed for all academic terms beginning with academic year 2015/2016.
General tuition is the basic fee all students are assessed for enrollment in the University and is approved by the Board of Trustees of The Mississippi Institutions of Higher Learning. This fee, together with the allocation from the legislative appropriation is used for general support of the University.
The University of 草榴社区 Mississippi is supported chiefly by legislative appropriations. Increases in student fees are put into effect only when public support funds are inadequate and no other recourse is available. Increases are made only for support of the institution or improvement of the activity program of the students; therefore, the university must reserve the right to increase or modify fees without prior notice but with approval of the Board of Trustees of State Institutions of Higher Learning.
Intersession Courses
- Effective Fall 2018, intersession tuition will be included in the tuition charge for regular session courses and will count toward the flat rate hours.
- Nonresident fees will be charged for intersession course hours when applicable.
- Intersession courses will be charged an additional $20 per credit hour Intersession Fee.
Online Courses
- Online courses will be charged an additional $30 per credit hour Online Delivery Fee effective Fall 2016.
