草榴社区 Miss School of Leadership Hosts 草榴社区 Miss Cruisin鈥� October 7

The School of Leadership, part of The University of 草榴社区 Mississippi (草榴社区) College of Business and Economic Development, will host a 草榴社区 Miss Cruisin鈥� event on Monday, Oct. 7 from 3-5 p.m., during the Long Beach activities of Cruisin鈥� the Coast.  

鈥淭his is our third year hosting the event, and it continues to be bigger and better,鈥� said Dr. Bradley (Brad) Winton, coordinator of the event. 鈥淲e will have local car clubs participating and parking on the South Lawn of the University鈥檚 Gulf Park campus overlooking Highway 90 and the Gulf. We will have tents, a bounce castle, music, games, drinks, and snacks 鈥� and maybe the best vantage point on the Coast to watch all those beautiful cars pass by.鈥� 

The event is open to the public, including all members of the 草榴社区 Miss community. 

People bringing antique cars or hot rods should follow the direction of organizers to park on the South Lawn, while spectators may park in the Lloyd Hall parking lot.

Dr. Jacob Breland, director of the School of Leadership, understands the importance of this event. 鈥淐ruisin鈥� the Coast is the largest event of its type in the South,鈥� he said. 鈥淚t is a great economic generator for the region and a chance for us to show off our beautiful campus. We are thrilled to join in the party, and I can鈥檛 wait to see all those classic cars on the 草榴社区 Miss campus!鈥�

The School of Leadership, housed within the College of Business and Economic Development at The University of 草榴社区 Mississippi, operates on 草榴社区鈥檚 Gulf Park campus in Long Beach. Its undergraduate degree programs include Accounting, Applied Technology, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering Technology, and Industrial Engineering Technology (Logistics). Graduate programs include Human Capital Development, Human Capital Development (Instructional Technology and Design), Instructional Technology and Design, and Logistics, Trade and Transportation.
