“Know the Past, Shape the Future” Theme for Black History Month Programming

The University of Mississippi’s () Office of Inclusion and Multicultural Engagement (IME) will present a series of events and programming on the Hattiesburg campus in conjunction with Black History Month, beginning Feb. 7. This year’s theme is “Know the Past, Shape the Future.”

The schedule of events includes the following:

*Feb. 7: IME Trap Karaoke, Joe Paul Student Theater, Thad Cochran Center, 6:30 – 9 p.m.

*Feb. 8: Shades of LGBTQ+, PRISM LGBTQIA+ Resource Office, HUB room 103, 5:30 - 7 p.m.

*Feb. 13: IME Movie Night: The Woman King, Joe Paul Student Theater, 6 - 8:30 p.m.

*Feb. 24: African American Student Organization’s (AASO) Cultural Legends Ball, Thad Cochran Center, rooms 218 A&B, 5:30 – 7:30 p.m.
