Page Content
The GCRL Museum, located at the Halstead Campus in Ocean Springs, serves as the primary repository for specimens obtained during ongoing local, national, and international research programs conducted through the GCRL and at other regional institutions, thereby meeting one of GCRL鈥檚 charter missions to study and disseminate specimen-based information for research and academic purposes. Material contained in the Museum collections is available for use by researchers worldwide, providing essential information on biodiversity, systematics, morphology, ecology, distribution and life history of the species represented therein. Although the Museum does not house any public exhibits, special arrangements can be made for educational groups and individuals to tour the facilities.
