Bio
Dr. Jay Lee is a health scientist specializing in preventive health services and biostatistics. The overarching goal is to design health policies for addressing chronic health issues in geriatrics and people with disabilities, with a specific focus on dementia and type 2 diabetes. The first objective is to generate scientific evidence to design preventive health services. He has focused on the preventive effects of multi-domain health programs such as physical activity, nutrition, and sleep to control chronic health risks. He has utilized longitudinal and machine learning models to analyze causal inferences using national health panel data. The second objective is to provide preventive health services, utilizing digital health devices such as mobile apps, virtual reality, and digital puzzles to address future health risks. He is a Co-investigator of dementia and diabetes prevention projects using digital devices.
