Bio
J. Theresa Bush (she/they) United Scenic Artists Local 829 and Associate Professor of Costume Design and Tech. Associate Designer credits include A Wonderful World on Broadway, Flying Over Sunset at Lincoln Center, Head of Passes for Berkeley Rep, and Familiar for Yale Rep. Regional credits include Alabama Shakespeare Festival, Berkley Rep, The Warehouse Theatre, Cincinnati Playhouse in the Park, Virginia Rep, and Maine State Music Theatre. Awards include the IHL Diversity Award and the KCACTF Faculty Excellence in Costume Design Award. She has served as costume shop manager for Williamstown Theatre Festival 2012 producing the Broadway premiers of Far From Heaven and The Elephant Man. She created costumes for regional houses including Repertory Theatre of St. Louis and Lexington Children鈥檚 Theatre, and she served as Dolly Parton鈥檚 alterationist. Theresa specializes in consent-based, trauma-informed practices and is Affiliate Faculty with Theatrical Intimacy Education.
