Dr. Joyce Inman

Associate Professor

Bio

Dr. Joyce Olewski Inman is an assistant professor of English, and she directs the composition program at the University of ²ÝÁñÉçÇø Mississippi. She teaches first-year to graduate level composition courses, and her research interests include legal discourse analysis, basic writing pedagogies, social and cognitive linguistics in literacy politics, and the ways space and locale can influence writers, their identities, and their texts. She has published in numerous scholarly journals and is the 2019 CCCC Lavender Rhetorics Article Award Recipient. Her current research and writing is focused on classroom assessment and ethical desires in the writing classroom.
